Key Responsibilities- Plan and manage geotechnical investigations, including site reconnaissance, drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing.
- Analyze soil and rock properties using laboratory testing results and field data.
- Perform comprehensive geotechnical analyses, including slope stability, settlement analysis, bearing capacity, and seismic site response.
- Design various types of foundations, including shallow foundations (spread footings, mats) and deep foundations (piles, shafts).
- Develop geotechnical recommendations and specifications for project documents.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports, summarizing findings and design parameters.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, including pile load testing oversight and foundation construction monitoring.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies on geotechnical matters.
- Mentor junior geotechnical engineers and technicians.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering. A Master's degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong focus on foundation design.
- Proven experience in planning and executing geotechnical site investigations.
- Proficiency with geotechnical engineering software such as GeoStudio (SLOPE/W, SEEP/W), FLAC, PLAXIS, or similar.
- Thorough knowledge of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and engineering geology.
- Familiarity with Indonesian geotechnical standards and practices (SNI).
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
