Full Job Description

My client is reputable player in Insurance business with strong presence in the market.

• Lead and develop the company's accounting policies, ensuring alignment with the latest accounting standards, particularly IFRS17.
• Provide expert guidance to cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting treatment and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of complex accounting issues and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging accounting standards and regulatory changes, providing recommendations for adaptation as necessary.
• Serve as the subject matter expert in IFRS17 implementation and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support the audit process and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Mentor, lead, and develop a high-performing accounting policy team.
• Support the company's financial planning and analysis activities by providing accounting insights and recommendations.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting policy, preferable with Big4 background.
• Strong expertise in IFRS17 implementation and compliance.
• Exceptional knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proven experience in researching and resolving complex accounting issues.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
