A luxury lifestyle hospitality group is looking for a Head of Events Programming & Sustainability for a private members club to join their team immediately.
The role must take a holistic ownership of each event from start to finish, including staff management, overseeing event coordination, member relations and making sure payments to vendors are made/received on time.
The ideal candidate conceptualises and oversees the cultural segments of hero, ritual, F&B and membership events. This may also include overseeing the communication of these events to stakeholders such as the Marketing and Operations teams.
Requirements :
- Open for local & expat candidates.
- Min. three years previous relevant experience required with proven technical and analytical acumen.
- Fluent English Speaker.
- An organised free thinker sensitive to key cultural areas of interest to the community (namely ESG, Web 3 etc.)
- Clear and proven credibility in the arts and culture space.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional experiences.
- Curious and passionate about consumers and building brands.
- Superb attention to detail; material produced is meticulously executed.
- Problem Solving; must be able to critically analyse and tackle problems and present viable solutions.
- Needs to be passionate about the company’s mission, values and its offering.
- Entrepreneurial spirit; must be able to deal with ambiguity and willing to take risks as needed.
- Strong communication skills; this person can present information (both written and oral) clearly and concisely. This person needs to be able to communicate clearly at all levels within an organisation.
- Creativity; they need to be open to new ideas, adventurous and practical simultaneously.
- Driven by the desire to win and for continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
Responsibilities :
- Delivery of a robust, engaging, enriching, monthly cultural calendar that celebrates company cultural pillars.
- Create elevated experiences to the highest standard based around ever-changing membership demographics.
- Being the face of the Cultural program, meeting members to hear their ideas.
- Be on the lookout for culturally significant happenings in the world/locally, and lead teams to deliver the program in accordance with set timelines.
- Developing third party partnerships with luxury brands to add more presence to the event calendar.
- Deliver a program rich in quality not quantity. Quality control is of the utmost importance.
- Liaise with various departments and teams (marketing, membership, event ops) to plan events, ensure understanding on deliverables and manage on-going communications.
- Schedule, organise and chair weekly cultural event meetings to review and discuss upcoming events and future planning.
- Lead Marketing and Events team to support execution of partnerships through marketing assets and event-management.
- Focus on developing the creativity community within the company.
