Full Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous, proactive and organized individual to
join our legal team as an administrator. The Legal Team Administrator
will play a critical role in supporting the efficient operation of our
legal department by managing administrative tasks within the legal
team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills,
excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to
detail.
Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the legal team, including coordinating meetings, arranging document finalization and deliveries, administering legal requests and task distributions
- Document Management: Organize and maintain legal documents, contracts, and correspondence in both physical and digital filing systems. Ensure all documents are accurately labeled, updated, and easily accessible. Assist in the creation and maintenance of filing systems to streamline document retrieval
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate legal team meetings, including preparing agendas, distributing materials, and documenting meeting minutes. Follow up on action items and deadlines as necessary
- Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and service providers, such as law firms, couriers, and document management companies. Coordinate contracts, invoices, and payments as necessary
- Special Projects: Support
legal team members on special projects, such as corporate
transactions, litigation support, and regulatory filings. Assist in
gathering and organizing relevant information and
documentation
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as legal admin, legal secretary, or assistant legal
- Bachelor's degree in the legal or business administration field
- Having knowledge in the legal industry (legal research or case management)
- Familiarity with legal documents and terminology
