Systech has an opportunity to join our in-house marketing team.
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic, and collaborative
professional to join us as our Marketing Manager.
The role will
be based in Bali, Indonesia, where Systech has established a business
support hub that includes members of the Finance, IT, Recruitment, and
Business Development teams.
The Marketing Manager will report
to the Group Managing Directors and Director of Marketing & Training.
They will also interface regularly with the other heads of departments
including but not limited to, Lead Generation, Account Management,
Bid, as well as the Regional Directors.
They will have input
into the creation and execution of the global marketing strategy. They
will lead our marketing campaigns, evaluate our marketing performance
metrics, and report to the necessary stakeholders regarding how we can
continue to build our brand within the industry.
The existing
marketing team is relatively small and therefore it requires someone
who is prepared to be hands-on and resourceful. You will need to
manage marketing and business development staff and will ultimately be
responsible for leading and developing this remote team.
You
will have a sufficient but limited budget and will need to maximise
Systech’s return on investment.
There will be opportunities to
propose new initiatives, but they will be accompanied by a plan
articulating how it will support in achieving Systech’s marketing and
business development objectives.
The role requires someone with
a strong marketing background, excellent communication skills,
attention to detail, and a personality that thrives within an agile
global business. They will need to be a self-starter and capable of
operating within a remote working environment.
They will facilitate
and coordinate business events and seminars, improving brand
awareness, promoting learning about the industry and our clients, as
well as developing new professional and potential client contacts.
They will play a significant role by contributing to the Company’s
growth and evolution as it enters its next life cycle, as part of the
‘Roadmap 2030’.
The expectation is that this individual will
possess the required expertise and future management qualities to
become the Group Marketing Director within 24 – 36 months. We are
seeking someone who can quickly build a detailed understanding of our
business and marketing function, as well as introduce new methods,
techniques, and technology to improve its performance.
- Support and shadow the Director of Marketing & Training
- Attending online Business Development and Marketing meetings monthly
- Learn Systech’s business and the role that the marketing function plays in its success
- Foster relationships with the senior management team and other heads of departments
- Coordinate all marketing activities to generate new leads
- To work hand in glove with the bid team to produce high-quality proposals
- Assist in creating and deploying a consistent marketing strategy for all business units
- Conduct market research and support business development within target markets
- Communicate with senior management about marketing initiatives and project metrics, as well as coming up with new initiatives
- Proactive collaboration with other departments to produce marketing campaigns
- Leverage marketing resource to build the company brand across all channels.
- Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and marketing collateral
- Work with and manage third-party suppliers and technology partners
- Track performance of all marketing campaigns
- Ensuring Business Development and Marketing is a joined-up Department that interfaces with all key commercial and service support departments globally.
- Prepared to travel infrequently to regional offices
- BSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 10 years of experience in marketing, with 2 years in a management role.
- Experience in the construction industry
- Experience working for a consultancy would be advantageous
- Marketing Strategy, Campaign Management, and Market Research skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills
- Digital Marketing and Social Media Marketing skills
- Leadership, mentoring, and team management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely while also collaborating with the team
