Senior Software Engineer (Back End) - Consumer Lending (Risk)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our engineering team at GoTo Financial. You will be responsible for designing and building high-performance fintech applications. As a senior engineer, you will work on our flagship products across the GoTo ecosystem, including Gojek, GoPay, and Tokopedia, ensuring our millions of users get the best experience. Apart from that, you can also master more advanced risk control technology.

• Develop Java backend applications for the company, including risk applications and server-side applications.
• Foster a culture of collaboration by working closely with diverse regional teams including Product, DevOps, UX, Data Engineering, and QA throughout the planning and execution phases.
• You need to address the challenges faced in high-concurrency scenarios of risk systems, architects, robust engineers, and high-performance systems that can effortlessly handle scale, maintain reliability, ensure security, and gracefully handle faults.
• You also need to develop different risk control rules and integrate them with different third-party data sources.

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related major.
• 4+ years of Java development experience, those with large-scale project development experience are preferred.
• Be familiar with mainstream frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, and MyBatis.
• Be familiar with Linux operating systems, understand database principles, and be proficient in using databases like MySQL MongoDB, and Redis.
• Have good coding style and code specifications, and be able to independently complete project development.
• Have good communication skills and teamwork spirit, and be able to collaborate effectively with other developers.
• Know container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and be able to use them for application deployment and management.
