The Opportunity

We’re offering an opportunity for a Service Technician to be a part of our dynamic national service team. We are currently seeking an energetic Service Technician who enjoys work variety, engaging with clients and having a go to install, repair and maintain our products.

Responsibilities:

• Provide effective, proficient, timely and quality preventative maintenance, installation and repair of equipment.
• Provide customers with technical support, report and feedback on their service requests.
• Liaise and work alongside management, sales and technical staff.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
• Develop and maintain skills and training on all equipment.
• Complete and submit accurate records of service activities.
• Comply with all service procedures, processes and tests of equipment.
• Perform to designated goals and response times.
• Maintain accurate inventory of Aldus equipment, service parts and tools.

Skills and Experience

Favour will be given to candidates with the following:

• Demonstrated 5 years practical experience in a service/maintenance role.
• Qualifications in Electronics, Electromechanical or Electrical field.
• Exceptional problem solving, analytical skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Previous experience in packaging or automated machinery preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills allowing you to communicate effectively with clients & colleagues.
• Ability to travel to clients in Metro, non-Metro and Rural Areas 
• Electrical License, preferable but not required.
