Job Description

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans for Cable Lay Vessel construction, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
• Work closely with the engineering team to review designs, specifications, and technical documentation. Provide guidance and expertise on cable lay vessel construction techniques and standards.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain departments to source materials, equipment, and services required for the project. Ensure timely delivery of all components and compliance with project specifications.
• Manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors involved in the project. Monitor performance, resolve disputes, and ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer expectations. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any issues.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and delays. Proactively address issues as they arise to keep the project on track.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and external partners. Provide regular updates on project progress, milestones, and any changes to scope or requirements.
• Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the project. Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, or other related field
• Proven experience managing complex shipbuilding projects, with portfolio in Cable Lay Vessels.
• In-depth knowledge of ship design, construction, and classification society rules and regulations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Experience working in a shipyard or maritime industry environment is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English
• Willing to be placed in Batam
