Key responsibilities include: monitoring and analyzing market, credit, and operational risks; developing and validating risk metrics and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs); preparing regular risk reports for executive committees and regulatory bodies; staying abreast of emerging risks and industry best practices; collaborating with IT and data science teams to enhance risk management systems; and contributing to the development of risk appetite statements and policies. Qualifications necessary: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM) are highly preferred. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in risk management, financial analysis, or a similar quantitative role within the financial services industry. Advanced proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools such as R, Python, SAS, or SQL is required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
