Deskripsi Pekerjaan:

• Mengembangkan produk baru sesuai kebutuhan pasar (autolube, fire suppression, hose reel, fittings).
• Melakukan riset dan inovasi untuk peningkatan kualitas produk.
• Berkoordinasi dengan tim produksi, QC, dan sales untuk memastikan produk siap produksi massal.
• Mengelola tim RnD dari konsep hingga prototype.
• Membuat laporan pengembangan produk kepada manajemen.

Kualifikasi:

• maksimal usia 45 tahun.
• Pendidikan minimal S1 Teknik Mesin/Industri.
• Pengalaman minimal 10 tahun di RnD industri spare parts atau heavy equipment.

Key Responsibility :

Develop formulas and design new plastic products according to market and customer needs.

Research the latest trends in plastic materials and technologies.

Improve the performance, production efficiency, and quality of existing plastic products.

Optimize the use of raw materials (resin, additives, colorants, etc.).

Prepare project timelines and R&D budgets.

Coordinate with production, QC, engineering, and marketing teams in product development.

Supervise trial processes and laboratory testing to ensure product compliance with technical standards and regulations.

Analyze test results and conduct technical evaluations.

Create technical documents, SOPs, and R&D project reports.

Develop technical specifications for plastic products.

General Qualifications – R&D Manager :

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in plastics R&D, including at least 2 years in a managerial position.

Experience in plastics processing (injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, etc.).

In-depth knowledge of types of plastic resins (PP, PE, PET, PC, PVC, etc.).

Proficiency with laboratory testing equipment (MFI tester, DSC, TGA, tensile tester, etc.).

Understanding of plastic additive formulations, masterbatches, and the influence of process parameters.Leadership and managerial skills.

Communication and team coordination skills across departments.

Detail-oriented and result-oriented.

Innovative and analytical in solving technical problems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and improve formulation for tile adhesive, skim coat, grouts, or waterproofing mortar
2. Drive cost-effective and sustainable innovations aligned with market trends
3. Collaborate with Marketing and Production to align product development with commercial goals
4. Manage product testing, documentation (MSDS/TDS), and regulatory compliance

Purpose statement

The Quality Innovation Manager is responsible for embedding of the quality assurance framework and product quality standards for innovation projects and new product introductions for all product categories (FMC, OTP, FMD, DIET, PMD, eLiquid, and HP). At the same time the role of the job holder is to ensure product is manufactured according to proper specifications and legal requirements in line with customer expectations.

Objective

Business

• Manage and assure new products and processes qualification for new technologies, materials and equipment as per global standards.
• New materials and supplier qualification assurance / incoming materials inspection for innovation
• Assure implementation of product and material innovation in accordance with global and regional programs and strategy right first time.
• Create and establish local processes (i.e. MQS, test & trials, etc.) associated with creating and the alteration of the specification of products (FG, semi-FG and materials) as well as a supervision of implementing them and functioning as part of organizations.
• Ensure proper specification of products (FG, semi-FG and materials) and proper data management are in place in accordance with BAT quality and legal standards prior first production.
