You will lead the Mold Engineering Team in mold setting, process analysis, and optimization through scientific injection molding and Design of Experiment (DoE). Your responsibilities include reviewing mold designs, optimizing machine parameters, troubleshooting molding issues, and researching materials for the best results.
What We're Looking For
- Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Tool & Die, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a journeyman mold setter with injection molding machines.
- 3+ years of experience as a journeyman mold maker in mold construction.
- Strong expertise in mold design (two-plate and three-plate molds).
- Skilled in operating mold-making equipment (milling, lathe, grinder, EDM, CNC, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of mold-making methods, tooling materials, runners, sliders, and unscrewing systems.
- Good understanding of plastic materials and molding processes.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software and plastic flow analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills in English (oral & written).
- Willing to be based in Salatiga.
