**Job Description**
As an Application Engineer for SLB's Artificial Lift business, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and supporting Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP) systems tailored to diverse well conditions across Indonesia. You will collaborate with clients, field teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure reliable and efficient artificial lift solutions that maximize production and minimize downtime.
This person provides real-time support to Product & Service Delivery as required and is responsible for the cost-of-service delivery.
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
+ Design ESP systems using SLB's proprietary software tools based on well data, production history, and reservoir characteristics.
+ Recommend optimal pump configurations, motor sizing, and control systems to meet client production targets.
+ Provide on-site and remote support during ESP installation, commissioning, and operation.
+ Diagnose and resolve ESP performance issues using real-time monitoring tools and historical data.
+ Serve as the technical focal point for ESP-related inquiries and proposals.
+ Prepare and present technical documentation, performance reports, and recommendations to clients.
+ Ensure all ESP operations comply with SLB's HSE standards and client-specific safety protocols.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in design, installation, and troubleshooting of ESP or other ALS technology.
+ Knowledge on such ESP Design and Analysis through ALS Design software, Troubleshooting
+ Trained of ALS Application Engineer Course.

**What You'll need:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or a related field.

Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Network Security Engineer to join their critical infrastructure team in Pekanbaru, Riau, ID . This role is essential for safeguarding our client's telecommunications network against evolving cyber threats. The Lead Network Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing advanced security solutions to protect network assets and data integrity. This includes developing and enforcing network security policies, procedures, and best practices. You will be involved in firewall management, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS), VPN configuration, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions. The successful candidate will conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing to identify and remediate potential weaknesses. A key aspect of this role is to lead incident response efforts, analyze security breaches, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. You will also stay abreast of the latest security threats, trends, and technologies, recommending and integrating new security measures as needed. The Lead Network Security Engineer will mentor junior security analysts, provide technical leadership, and collaborate with other IT and engineering teams to ensure a unified security posture. This position demands a proactive approach to security, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of network protocols and security architectures. The ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences is vital. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our client's network infrastructure. This role is hands-on and requires deep technical expertise in a complex, high-availability environment. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our client's network security strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage network security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and SIEM.
  • Develop and implement robust network security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
  • Lead and manage incident response activities, including analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • Monitor network traffic for security threats and anomalies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior security engineers.
  • Collaborate with IT operations and engineering teams to ensure secure network configurations.
  • Stay current with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation and architecture diagrams.
  • Contribute to security awareness training for employees.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA Security, CCNP Security) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in network security engineering within a telecommunications environment.
  • Expertise in firewall technologies, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and SIEM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing protocols, and network architectures.
  • Proven experience with vulnerability assessment tools and penetration testing methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead incident response activities effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation is a plus.
