The Cloud and Hosting Lead is responsible for leading the Cloud and Hosting Product Service Lines (PSL) to represent Infra and Digital Workplace Domain in front of other Airbus Functions.

The objective is to support the successful implementation and ongoing enhancement of our organization's cloud and hosting solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and positive technology experience for our end users, from initial rollout to continuous improvement, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and user satisfaction.

Reporting to the HO Infrastructure and Digital Workplace, the role will lead cloud and hosting services ensuring end to end ownership of the product life cycle. The Cloud and Hosting Lead will also be responsible to align with global product owners to advocate for harmonization of end user products and services within APAC core countries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of cloud and hosting specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve team objectives. He will have Disciplinary and professional leadership of transnational teams. Guidance, motivation, and development of subordinates; implementation of a high-performance culture within the area of responsibility. Ensuring compliance with organizational and supervisory duties within the area of responsibility.Complex cross national context with team present into different APAC countries (mainly Malaysia, Singapore, Japan and Australia)  including extended/outsourced team members in other roofs like Airbus India or external providers. Globally operating on 11 countries.
  • Responsible for career development and maintain full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions and recruitment for this team
  • Assume overall Apac responsibility in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud and hosting infrastructure, including on premise servers, cloud solutions, extended enterprise technologies.
  • The accountability on cloud and hosting systems includes a highly complex ecosystem with 3 divisions / 11 countries and more than 40 sites connected. A global standardization and harmonization roadmap remains to be conducted.
  • All systems being worldwide and interconnected, the Cloud and Hosting Lead will be responsible for IT Product Management, in formulating strategy and policies compliant with Airbus group and define APAC standards and apply them in a harmonized way to all entities. In this context, he will work closely with the central domain and PSL of each division to align strategies and roadmaps.
  • As the Cloud and Hosting Lead, this role will operate as a Cloud and Hosting Architect and act as the key subject matter expert in supporting Architects when developing technical roadmaps for network and communication upgrades, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Apac/Central to assess and address Cloud and Hosting-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • This role will operate as IT Operations Specialist and lead a team that monitors Cloud and Hosting performance, analyzes data traffic, and implements optimizations to enhance reliability, speed, and efficiency.
  • This role will lead and act as a leadership escalation point for Apac/Central CyberSecurity team in establishing and enforcing security protocols, policies, and procedures to safeguard network integrity and protect against cyber threats. This includes all CyberSecurity driven Infrastructure deployments and enhancements in Apac .
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance Cloud and Hosting capabilities and communication efficiency.
  • Wholly responsible for preparing and managing budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines for network and communication initiatives.
  • As Cloud and Hosting is a key lever in budget and customer satisfaction, the team lead will act as a continuous improvement, standardization and harmonization lever in APAC and Airbus group
  • To lead PSL to oversee the design, build and run of Datacenter hosted with Vmware/Hyper-V, Active Directory, Storage and Backup, SCCM, Citrix/VDI
  • The today set of data center operated are located in each of our key countries (Singapore 2, Malaysia 1, Japan 2, Australia 2, New Zealand 1)
  • To lead PSL in managing the Availability and Capacity management and reporting ON PREM Virtual/Physical servers, Storage and Backup infrastructure in APAC
  • To lead PSL in evaluating emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance cloud and hosting capabilities and efficiency.
  • Upkeep and live Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct to be exemplary to others and to promote and increase the awareness of Airbus Values, Leadership Model and Code of Conduct.
  • Carry out any other task as directed by the superior.

  • The team lead will take care of sustainable development (lifecycle management) in line with Airbus digital objectives
  • Risk management in the area of responsibility, in particular regular and comprehensive identification, assessment and limitation of risks as well as the corresponding reporting
  • Accountable of conducting business activities in compliance with all relevant internal and external regulations/legislation; escalating any compliance issues to the relevant functions
  • Ensure Achievement of short- to medium-term corporate objectives in the assigned area; setting objectives for subordinate employees; active performance management, particularly for the rapid adoption of decisions
