About Terralogiq: Pioneering Geospatial Intelligence and Cloud Innovation in Asia
Join Terralogiq
, a leading Google Cloud Premier Partner in Asia, and be part of a team that is redefining what's possible with technology. Established in 2013, PT Terralogiq Integrasi Solusi is the market leader in Indonesia for location intelligence, geospatial solutions, and cloud services. As part of a global technology family with over 16 years of experience, we combine the agility and local expertise of a market leader with the resources and stability of a global enterprise.
Our mission is to empower businesses to thrive in the digital age. We are the first and only Google Maps Premier Partner in Indonesia, and our expertise in Google Cloud has enabled over 250 clients—from innovative startups to major state-owned enterprises—to transform their operations. We build solutions that matter, powering everything from nationwide logistics to smart city applications and disaster management platforms. At Terralogiq, you won't just be building infrastructure; you'll be engineering the future of digital Indonesia.
The Opportunity: Contribute to a Landmark Cloud Transformation
We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Cloud Engineer to join one of our most significant current engagements: the end-to-end migration of a major enterprise client's entire on-premises infrastructure to the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is not just a "lift and shift" project; it is a complete modernization initiative that will set a new standard for performance, scalability, and security.
As the ideal candidate, you are a hands-on professional who thrives on complex challenges. You will be a key contributor to the migration lifecycle—from design and planning to implementation and post-migration optimization. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on a high-visibility project and grow your expertise in large-scale cloud transformation.
Your Impact: Core Responsibilities
Migration & Implementation
- Contribute to the design, planning, and execution of the migration strategy from on-premises data centers to GCP.
- Deploy and configure scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Collaborate with customer teams to assess their existing environment, applications, and dependencies.
- Manage data migration, ensuring integrity and minimal downtime.
Technical Support & Enablement
- Act as a key technical point of contact for the customer during and post-migration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues related to networking, virtual machines, databases, and containerization.
- Provide expert guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition and user adoption.
- Monitor the health, performance, and security of the new cloud environment using tools like Google Cloud's operations suite.
- Proactively identify opportunities for performance tuning, cost optimization, and automation.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
- Ensure the infrastructure remains up-to-date and compliant with industry best practices.
Foundational Skills: Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience contributing to a large-scale on-premises to cloud migration project.
- Strong, hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Solid understanding and practical experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, preferably GKE).
- Strong scripting skills for automation using Python or Bash.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security principles, and identity access management (IAM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a customer-facing role.
Differentiating Expertise: Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or other relevant GCP certifications.
- Experience with other major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), demonstrating a broad understanding of cloud architecture patterns.
- Familiarity with advanced database migration strategies for both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases.
