About the Role
Tomie Technologies is looking for a
Senior Cloud Infrastructure & Compliance Engineer
on a
3-months contract
to lead the setup of our cloud environments and guide us through key compliance milestones.
Successful Candidate's main mission:
- By the end of the contract, our
staging, UAT, and production environments on AWS
to be fully set up. - We successfully achieve
ISO 27001
and
Aramco Cyber Security Compliance (CCC)
certification & audit clearance. - You provide a
scaling roadmap
for the next phase of our growth, including strategies for
multi-tenant SaaS
operations.
You'll collaborate with two backend engineers (non-infra background) who will support implementation, while you serve as the
senior lead
driving design, execution, compliance, and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect, set up, and secure
AWS environments
: staging, UAT, and production. - Implement
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
to ensure maintainability, portability, and avoid vendor lock-in. - Lead implementation of
cloud security best practices
(monitoring, logging, access controls, resilience). - Ensure
compliance readiness
with ISO 27001 and Aramco CCC; work closely with auditors to achieve certification and audit clearance. - Define and document
infrastructure policies, procedures, and compliance workflows

Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience
in cloud infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or security engineering. - Deep expertise with
AWS services
(EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc.). - Proven experience delivering projects aligned with
ISO 27001
and preferably
Aramco CCC
or equivalent compliance frameworks. - Strong hands-on experience with
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.) — with emphasis on
avoiding vendor lock-in

- Preferably holding AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or equivalent certification.
- Strong understanding of cloud concepts and solutions, including security, networking, and cost optimization.
- Experience in designing and managing scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly and effectively to operational issues.
