Our client is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Remote Procurement Specialist to manage and optimize their global sourcing and purchasing activities. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to leverage your expertise in procurement, negotiation, and supply chain management from anywhere. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services that meet quality and cost objectives. A significant aspect of this role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse supplier base, both domestically and internationally. You will conduct market analysis to understand supply chain dynamics, identify potential risks, and explore opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. The Remote Procurement Specialist will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and ensure procurement strategies align with overall business goals. Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and data analysis is essential for effectively managing tenders, analyzing bids, and tracking procurement performance metrics. We are looking for an individual with exceptional negotiation skills, a strong understanding of contract law, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
