Education / Background
A Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Visual Communication Design, or with a focus on 3D Design, Illustration, Visual is usually preferred. In startups, experience and portfolio often matter more than formal degrees.

Responsibilities

• Product Design & Concept Develop product design concepts according to company/client needs. Transform ideas into sketches, illustrations, or digital mockups. Prepare communicative visual presentations of design concepts.
• 3D Modeling & Rendering Create 3D product models using software (Rhino, SolidWorks, Blender, KeyShot, or similar). Produce realistic rendering visualizations for internal and external presentations. Develop 3D animations or walkthroughs to highlight product features. 3. Illustration & Visualization Create technical and artistic illustrations to support design communication. Provide visual materials (posters, catalogs, brochures, digital content). Develop storyboards or visual sketches to support product development.
• Research & Development Research current trends in design, materials, and technology. Understand ergonomics, aesthetics, and product functionality. Provide design recommendations aligned with target markets.
• Team Collaboration Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and production teams. Support prototyping processes with accurate visual data. Contribute design input during cross-department discussions.
• Documentation & Archiving Prepare design documentation (sketches, illustrations, 3D files, renderings). Organize and maintain a systematic visual product database.

• Take careful notes on all product revisions
• Update all sketches and specs according to company requirements and product design planning
• Create full scale sketches as needed for prototype making

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree from Product Design/equivalent work experience.
• Min 3-5 years experience as a Product Designer, with a focus on footwear products. Experience in designing sandals specifically would be highly desirable.
• ⁠Proficient with the 2D/3D CAD Graphic Design Skills.
• Lead the design process from concept to production, which included sketching, 3D modelling, creating detailed AutoCAD drawings and developing prototypes.
• Able to select appropriate colors, fonts, and imagery to enhance the purpose of one design.
