RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Project Planning & Design
- Lead comprehensive site analysis, including topography, zoning, and utilities assessment.

- Boarding facilities integrating safety and wellness considerations

B. Contractor & Vendor Management
- Oversee the selection of architects, engineers, and contractors through rigorous technical and commercial evaluations.
- Negotiate contracts with clear performance metrics, including penalties for delays or defects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate effective collaboration among all project stakeholders through structured meetings and progress reviews.
C. Budget & Timeline Oversight
- Develop and maintain project budgets.
- Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to track cost, schedule, and performance.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard budget and timeline targets.
D. IB Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Collaborate with the Education team to ensure all facilities meet IB standards, including classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and inclusive design elements.
- Implement multi-stage quality control checkpoints, including but not limited to foundation completion, structural completion, and final handover.
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity are incorporated throughout the project design and construction.
E. Stakeholders Coordination
- Manage relationships with construction teams, architects, interior designers, and subcontractors.
- Liaise with government authorities for necessary permits and approvals (IMB, fire safety, Disdik, NPSN).
- Engage local communities and leaders to secure social license and smooth project execution.
- Collaborate with funding partners, landowners, and internal education teams to align facilities with curriculum requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience managing large-scale education or real estate projects (IDR 100B+), preferably with school construction or renovation experience.
- Certifications (preferred): PMP/PRINCE2, OSHA 30-Hour, LEED/Green Building.
- Strong technical knowledge in Indonesian construction law (PUPR regulations), contract negotiation (FIDIC preferred), value engineering, and international school design standards.
- Fluent in English and Indonesian, both written and spoken.

Based in Indonesia, the
Research Co-Lead
will provide overall technical leadership, strategic support and operational oversight for the project.
Duties
- Provide technical leadership for project related activities including:
- Lead data collection and analysis
- Lead technical document development, including research protocols, study instruments, project reports and peer-reviewed journal manuscripts
- Advise on innovative approaches for scale up of successful intervention activities/components in the region and beyond.
- Provide regular reports to the Corus-based Co-PI and programmatic and technical personnel, including successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Work closely with partners to plan activities, including coordinating submission of any research protocols to an accredited, Indonesia-based Institutional Review Board
Qualifications
- PhD in developmental psychology, social psychology, applied psychology or related field.
- At least 7 years of senior-level experience leading/serving as Principal Investigator for applied evaluation and research studies in community or school-based settings in Indonesia.
- Advanced quantitative data analysis skills, including use of quantitative analysis software (Stata preferred)
- Mid-level to advance qualitative data analysis and interpretation skills
- Documented peer-reviewed publication record in developmental psychology, adolescent health or related field
- Documented success in obtaining external grant/research funding from national and/or international donors/funders.
- Experience with positive youth development intervention design
- Demonstrated ability to work in concert with team, partner organizations, and other key stakeholders to achieve results
