- Provide analytical support to develop and implement formal ERM methodologies including the identification, assessment, prioritization, tracking, mitigation, and reporting of risks.
- Identify potential business and operational risks of each department ad respective business processes, make recommendations for additional controls and corrective action to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and risk mitigation processes.
- Supports the governance level of organization in identifying if the design and operations of internal controls (or risk responses) are appropriate to achieve key objective.
- Provides risk metrics and analyses to facilitate the monitoring of liquidity exposure and maintains appropriate risk appetite.
- Engage and develop effective working relationship to support cooperative response to risk management matters and issues.
- Manage enterprise wide risk management programs for multiple products (e.g. Lending, digital payment, digital product)
- Implement enterprise and operational risk management policies and programs with process and risk owners in the first line of defense.
- Prepare regular reports for senior leadership, boards, and committees, providing insights into emerging risks and the effectiveness of risk management initiatives.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the financial sector, including banks, lending institutions, and other financial services providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Knowledge of the operations of financial institution is a requirements.
- Auditing experience, preferably in a financial institution environment.
- Must have at least 5 years of experiences working in Enterprise Risk Management within the financial services sector (Banking & Insurance).
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing and/ or implementing Enterprise Risk Management systems/frameworks.
- Knowledge of risk framework.
- Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills along with sound judgement, strong relationship management and negotiation skills to report to Senior Management.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Ability to develop and foster effective working relationships (members, management team, assigned staff and Board).
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paces environment.
