As an HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing HSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment that complies with applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Policy Development & Implementation

• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures in accordance with national and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, OHSAS, etc.).
• Regularly review and update HSE policies to ensure compliance with the latest regulations.

Audit & Regulatory Compliance

• Conduct internal audits and safety inspections to identify potential risks.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations set by the government.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities to fulfill legal requirements and obtain necessary permits.

Risk Assessment & Management

• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate workplace safety risks and environmental impacts.
• Develop strategies to reduce workplace accidents and environmental damage caused by company operations.

Training & Employee Awareness

• Develop and conduct HSE training programs to ensure employees understand safety and environmental procedures.
• Foster a safety-conscious culture through effective communication and awareness programs.

Incident Investigation & Reporting

• Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, providing reports and recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare regular HSE reports for management and external stakeholders.

Coordination with Relevant Teams

• Work closely with production, operations, and facility teams to ensure a safe working environment.
• Serve as the main liaison between the company and regulatory bodies concerning HSE matters.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager located in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area. The HSE Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs and policies to ensure a safe working environment. Daily tasks include conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and providing training to employees on health and safety practices. The HSE Manager will also ensure adherence to regulatory compliance and promote a culture of safety within the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management

HSE Engineer/ Manager

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in Health & Safety procedures, and Indonesian Health & Safety regulations.

2. Auditing skills and knowledge to ensure the company's business complies with all relevant regulations.

3. Detail-oriented on identifying hazards and ensuring the workplaces are safe.

4. Communication skills and ability to influence workers to work safely and follow the procedures.

Job Description

• Deliver health and safety management report to the client and relevant stakeholders.
• Provide project management support across multiple sites as needed.
• Ensure the project under supervision is effectively managed in terms of health and safety, with a strong focus on achieving zero incidents.
• Report HSE deviations, accidents, near misses, and other related incidents in regular project updates.
• Conduct safety and quality control audits to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Raise daily safety observations with the contractor and follow up to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Prepare a monthly safety assessment report for the client, based on daily site visits and audit findings.
• Manage construction incidents in accordance with the client's Incident Escalation Protocol, ensuring the contractor investigates and takes appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure all project personnel complete the contractor's health and safety induction prior to accessing the construction site.
• Perform weekly and monthly safety walks and upload the resulting reports to the document management system.

Qualifications

• Degree qualifications in construction, project management or similar function.
• Have at least 2 years of Data Center experience.
• 10 years' experience in health, safety and environment (HSE).
• Ability to lead large multi-disciplined construction teams, with excellent leadership and problem solving skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Able to work under pressure.
