- Manage the end-to-end process of securing and maintaining intellectual property rights, which include among others, trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets in Indonesia and overseas;
- Conduct IP searches and clearance checks to avoid infringement risks before product launches or marketing campaigns
- Prepare, file, and monitor IP applications with relevant authorities and coordinate with external IP agents or law firms
- Oversee IP portfolio management, including renewals, assignments, and record updates
- Support brand protection activities, including monitoring and enforcement against counterfeit or unauthorized use
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and legal teams to ensure IP strategies align with business objectives
- Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on IP policies, procedures, and best practices
- Track changes in IP laws and regulations and assess potential business impacts in Indonesia and overseas
Requirements:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Law, Intellectual Property, or related field
- 8–10 years of IP experience, with leadership experience in managing IP processes and portfolios
- Strong knowledge of trademarks, patents, copyrights, trade secrets, and IP laws/regulations in Indonesia and sufficient knowledge in overseas processes as well
- Experience in IP applications, searches, risk assessments, and coordination with external agents/law firms
- Ability to align IP strategies with business goals and support brand protection activities be it in Indonesia and globally
