Job Description
The Manager, Project will manage and execute the retrofit of the plant to achieve the specified outcome, without any disruptions. He/She will ensure key project deliverables are achieved within the specified timeframe to fulfil contractual obligations to our Clients, and work with the Business Development (BD) team on any prospecting jobs to support them in winning new contracts.
Key responsibilities
- Understand the site's physical profile, operational requirements, proposed detailed design and scope of works. Work out the key tasks, duration, milestones, equipment lead times and plan the sequence of work to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Understand contracts' scope of work and define contractors' and vendors scope of work to ensure there are no gaps.
- Work out the internal resources required for project execution and the internal labour cost required for these resources.
- Negotiate pricing and finalise the schedule and costing to ensure that project is completed within budget.
- Support the BD team in any new tenders, from the aspect of project implementation, cost, risk management, to attending tender interviews when needed.
- Site visits for any prospecting jobs to acquire accurate, wide ranging information from site that would be crucial for the BD team to bid for the job.
- Assess if the equipment are performing to design specifications and ensure that Operating System Efficiency meets the Design System Efficiency or better.
- Plan project works to mitigate and minimise any impact to Clients' business operations to ensure no major disruption to Clients and no backcharges for losses or liquidated damages.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualifications
- Professional qualifications such as SCEM or GMP are advantageous
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and ACMV systems
- Knowledge of air conditioning and chiller plant operations fundamentals, project costing and budgeting, Workplace Safety and Health requirement, and risk management.
- Practical and resourceful individual; committed and responsible team player.
- Located in Bali and willing to travel within Indonesia for site visits and meetings where required
The selected candidate will be eligible to be considered for conversion to permanent employment subject to satisfactory work performance during the contract period and business needs.

· Provide leadership for the project management delivery teams within the area of control; through clear provision of objectives, responsibilities, and accountabilities, managing performance accordingly. Offer guidance and feedback to maximise the performance of the teams.
· Provision / Manage teams to provide of Customer Progress / general Reporting in a timely and regularly manner, using correct reporting management tools and templates. Ensure the level of information provided is sufficient to manage expectations and considers the sensitivity of business to end to end client relation to avoid any detrimental effect.
· Accountable for the provision of internal business reports and contract reviews to the senior management team. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of costs, values and programme forecasts; seeking opportunities to suggest actions which mitigates risk and maximise profitability.
· Manages and supports effective use of company email in terms of structure, format, storage, and retrieval.

Qualifications: Skills and Experience
· PMP certified or equivalent, along with a minimum of 5 years proven experience in a similar role.
· Demonstrate deep expertise in electrical and mechanical systems to oversee complex infrastructure installations, ensuring compliance with international standards and project specifications.
· Collaborate with cross functional teams to optimise design and execution of electrical and mechanical components, enhancing overall project efficiency and reliability.
· Demonstrable experience within the data centre industry, ideally within both white and grey space and connectivity biased.
· Degree in Engineering, Business Studies or a related field preferred.
· Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business financial principles, including profit and loss and costings.
· Proven Leadership capability and people management skills.
· Mentor and guide engineering teams fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing across disciplines.
· Strong stakeholder management and the ability to build and maintain excellent client/customer relations.
