Role Description

As a quality assurance, your responsibility in general will be conducting & maintaining test cases, generating automation web-based/mobile-based application testing, composing test reports, and tracking bugs.

Job Description

• Create test cases that cover all application features based on user requirements and system specifications.
• Ensure test cases are updated regularly to align with feature updates or changes.
• Execute manual test cases to ensure functionality, usability, and performance of web-based and mobile-based applications
• Prepare detailed test reports as a documentation, provide in-depth analysis of detected issues, including their impact on the application and recommended solutions.
• Identify, log, and prioritize issues (bugs) discovered during testing and escalate it to the developers.
• Use bug management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello to track and document bug statuses

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, functionality, and alignment on project goals and progress.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) testing, including exposure to manual and/or automated testing environments.
• Familiarity with standard QA methods, tools, and processes for ensuring software quality.
• Hands-on experience in either automation/manual testing.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Trello.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to identify issues, assess their impact, and recommend effective solutions.
• Excellent in written and oral communication to document test results clearly and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Attention to detail in evaluating software functionality and usability.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and working in cross-functional teams is a plus.

IT QA - Bandung

Contract: 6 Month (extendable)

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT QA

• Creating comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

• Performing manual testing on various platforms

• Clearly reporting and documenting bugs or issues using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello), if has experience using playwright and is a plus

• Experience in Retail apps, E-commerce, Inventory, or Warehouse systems

• Willing to work on-site (WFO) in Bandung for the 6-month contract

• Minimal S1 Jurusan IT (Teknik Informatika, Ilmu Komputer, Sistem Informasi, Manajemen Informatika, Teknologi Informasi, dsb).
• IPK minimal 2.75 (skala 4.00).
• Pengalaman Manual Testing di aplikasi Mobile Banking/Perbankan Digital (Android & iOS) merupakan syarat utama.
• Memahami SDLC (Waterfall & Agile) serta STLC.
• Terbiasa membuat dan mengeksekusi Test Plan, Test Case, Test Scenario.
• Familiar dengan bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Trello, dsb).
• Memahami proses bisnis perbankan digital (login, KYC, transfer, pembayaran, top up, dsb).

Job Description:

Requirement

• Bachelor's or diploma's degree in IT information or other related subject from reputable university is required.
• A good working knowledge of test management software, programming languages and QA methodologies are required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

● Work closely with stakeholders on allocated Projects/CR/Production defects.

● Ensure that systems are tested thoroughly and comply with the requirements defined in BRS/Functional Specifications / Technical documentation comprising of high level or low-level system designs.

● Ensure test results are documented properly.

● Ensure any risks from the delivery of incidents from the development team are communicated to QA manager.

● Should have an aptitude for testing with keen eye for detail.

● Manual functional testing of any core insurance application.

● Experience doing regression, manual functional testing or automation testing.

MUST-HAVE REQUIREMENTS

1. Have the experience on Manual Testing at least 1 year of experience

2. Preferable from the Insurance. Can consider Banking and Financial Industries and other sectors.
