KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Initiate and lead the delivery of analysis that will facilitate management decision making in relation to project economics, commercial marketing activities, opportunities, price re-openers, contract development and the WP&B budget.
- Provide analysis and support for evaluation of new opportunities of long term and spot marketing activities, including build and maintain economic models which take into account factors such as the distance of targeted markets, LNG vessels prices, and other appropriate variables.
- Build understanding of worldwide LNG pricing structures and LNG market including competitors' activities to assist in developing recommendations for LNG marketing planning, strategies, and targets as well as creating superior business opportunities;
- Maintain effective liaison and coordinate with Tangguh partners and develop consensus on various marketing decisions as well as Tangguh's other key commercial and technical decisions through both formal meetings as well as informal communication;
- Provide interface and coordination between Tangguh and SKKMigas/GOI to maintain alignment and seek SKKMigas/GOI approvals as required for Tangguh's marketing activities and objectives;
- Provide assistance to Sales Operation and Shipping team as required when negotiating with Buyers to find best solution to rectify any dispute in implementing the LNG Sales Purchase Agreements.
- Work with the Tangguh Project Performance Unit to ensure alignment between project design/implementation and marketing strategy and opportunities;
- Support all on-boarding activities related to new buyers: KYC, Due Diligence, execution of Confidentiality Agreements and other related documents.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENT AND EXPECTED EXPERIENCES :
- 8+ years of working experience with at least 3+ years' in oil and gas activities
- A solid team player and strong networking and communication skill with all levels of the organization.
- Experience in similar role which requires extensive data analysis skill, able to analyze and interpret qualitative data, trends, strategies, and competition, formulate reports and make recommendations aiming at increasing competitiveness.
- Understanding of the Gas/LNG market and its commercial and operational characteristics.
- Experience in contractual development and knowledge in Indonesian PSC system is preferable.
- Clear and effective communication both written and verbal; ability to explain and convey messages about complex issues and models; strong influencing skills; ability to work independently to deliver business objectives; ability to work in multi-cultural environment with other BP internal functions and external senior customers, competitors and government representatives.
- Experience in gathering strategic/complex information and synthesizing/presenting it efficiently to help develop business solutions, plans and priorities.
- Able to prioritize/deliver within a role that involves conflicting priorities and tight deadlines.
- At minimum bachelor's degree from reputable university with relevant experience.
