Job Desciption:

1. Source, survey, evaluate for new vendors of transporters (land trucking, sea freight, courier)
2. Responsible for sourcing transportation rates for bidding projects based on requirements
3. Responsible for requesting RFI from Transporters and coordinate with QA to conduct Transporter Audit
4. Align and maintain good communication & relationship with existing Transporters
5. Coordinate and manage all aspects of the shipment process, including booking, documentation, and customs clearance.
6. Arrange transportation and logistics services, such as trucking, shipping, and air freight, to meet the specific needs of each shipment.
7. Prepare and process necessary shipping and customs documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and export/import documentation.

Job Description:

• Sourcing and purchasing raw materials or agricultural product directly from suppliers/farmers.
• Identify potential suppliers / farmers as alternative supplier references based on quality, price, and collaboration ability.
• Staying informed about trends in natural ingredients, raw material availability, and market pricing.
• Conduct price negotiations in the initial discussion stage before the purchasing department proceeds with the transaction.

Requirements:

• Microsoft office proficient is a must.
• Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
• Prior exposure to commodity markets (tea, coffee, cocoa, vanilla, essential oil, functional, spices & seasonings , coconut, fruit & vegetables, natural sweeteners) and understanding of supply and demand dynamics.
