This function will be based at PT Firmenich Indonesia, Cileungsi, West Java and will reporting to Manager, Quality Control Taste Texture and Health who also based in Indonesia.
**Your key responsibilities**
+ Seek and obtain the necessary training and achieve full skills qualification within the roles mandate
+ Adherence to the Global Quality Control LEAN workflow process for processing of all Quality Control samples
+ Manage the receipt of samples as they are logged into Quality Control as well as to prioritize / separate samples and organize their testing per established SOP's.
+ Perform independently complex, routine, and non-routine activities including sample preparation, analytical task, and sensory evaluation as well as to entry the data accurately into dsm-firmenich internal systems.
+ Analyze raw material, in-process, and finished product samples according to established SOP's
+ Lead, conduct and participate in daily Flavors sensory evaluation sessions from preparation to evaluation for all Raw Materials and Finished Products per established SOP's
+ Manage and maintain retained sample room and reference sample availability and validity.
+ Prepare micro samples for shipment per established SOPs for 3rd party testing as well as subcontracting of testing where not currently qualified and track the results availability for timely Quality disposition
+ Files all retains at conclusion of sample testing cycle
+ Manage calibration, validation, verification of all laboratory equipment and ensure all are within tolerances by using dsm-firmenich QC Maintenance System.
+ Follows all Good Laboratory Practices, Site HSE, Food Safety, Quality, including GMP rules.
+ Maintains work area in a neat and well-organized manner and completes all paperwork correctly.
+ Manage and purchase stock of QC lab supplies & reagents as well as ensuring the absence of shortage
+ Identify common problems/issues encountered and perform escalation process to superior or relevant stakeholders.
+ Maintain awareness of technology and issues affecting own job.

+ Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and equivalent with minimum fresh graduate or 1 year of experience in flavor and fragrance, food, chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
+ Having continuous improvement and growth mindset
+ Must be Thorough and attentive to details
+ Organized and meticulous
+ Able to multitask and complete multiple requests on time
+ Good interpersonal and communication skills
+ Developing analytical skills with problem solving ability

+ Standard GLP and Lab Documentation
+ Having knowledge related to QC Instrumentation i.e : Titration, GC and LEAN Six Sigma, 5S, Root Cause Analysis will be valuable added.
+ Well Versed in Microsoft Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, word, outlook, etc.)
+ Prior SAP, LIMS knowledge and experience a plus
+ Familiar with running reports and creating presentations a plus
+ Ability to work in multiple applications and program systems
