Client & Project:
We are seeking a skilled
SAP Data Migration
to support our enterprise-wide transformation and SAP implementation. The role will be focused on planning, designing, and executing end-to-end data migration activities across various SAP modules, ensuring accurate, secure, and seamless transfer of business-critical data.

Key Responsibilities- Data Migration Strategy & Planning
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to define the data migration scope, methodology, and approach.
- Develop migration plans including timelines, resource needs, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL)
- Extract legacy system data using standard tools and methodologies.
- Cleanse, validate, and transform data according to SAP target system requirements.
- Load data into SAP (S/4HANA, ECC, or other landscapes) using tools such as LSMW, BODS, SAP Data Services, BAPI, IDocs, or Migration Cockpit.
- Data Validation & Reconciliation
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between legacy and target systems.
- Ensure compliance with data quality and governance standards.
- Create test scripts and execute test cycles to validate migration accuracy (e.g., unit testing, system integration testing, UAT support).
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work with functional consultants (FI/CO, MM, SD, HR, etc.) to understand master data and transactional data requirements.
- Provide guidance to business teams on data cleansing and preparation.
- Report migration progress, risks, and issues to project leadership.
- Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
- Prepare technical documentation including mapping rules, data dictionaries, and migration procedures.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams and business users.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Data Migration in large-scale implementation, rollout, or upgrade projects.
- Strong expertise in SAP migration tools: SAP Data Services (BODS), LSMW, SAP Migration Cockpit, BAPI/IDoc, or other ETL tools.
- Solid understanding of SAP Master Data (Customer, Vendor, Material, GL, Asset, Employee) and transactional data.
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and data profiling.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with S/4HANA migration projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and GDPR/compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional, global teams.
Preferred Skills- Experience in cloud migration projects (Azure, AWS, GCP with SAP).
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps delivery model.
- Exposure to SAP Activate methodology.
- Knowledge of industry-specific data structures (Banking, Oil & Gas, Retail, etc.).
Role Leveling (can adjust depending on need)- Consultant: Hands-on role focused on ETL execution and data load.
- Senior Consultant/Lead: Designs migration strategy, oversees team members, and manages complex datasets.
- Manager/Architect: Owns migration strategy, data governance, and cross-module integration for multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead migration of legacy procurement, supplier, and contract data

• Ensure data accuracy, cleansing, and mapping to GEP SMART formats

• Collaborate with compliance and audit teams for traceability

Skills & Knowledge:

• 5+ years in data migration for enterprise platforms

• Proficient in Excel, SQL, ETL tools

• Knowledge of procurement master data and audit standards

1. Data Migration Analyst – FICO

Requirements & Skills:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in SAP Finance (FICO)
• At least 1 full-cycle SAP implementation with significant involvement in financial data migration
• Strong experience with data mapping, reconciliation, and validation for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP data migration tools (LSMW, BODS, SAP Migration Cockpit, or similar ETL tools)
• Good understanding of finance master data and integration with other modules
• Strong communication and analytical skills for working with business finance teams

Responsibilities:

• Collect, consolidate, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness in the new system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data into the new system and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Support data migration testing and go-live preparation activities.
• Maintain documentation and provide post-migration support as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems from a reputable university.
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in data migration projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (advanced functions, data validation, pivot tables, etc.).
• Familiarity with databases and data analytics tools.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, MySQL, and Python is an advantage.
• Good understanding or working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Finance & Operations.

Job Description:

• Understanding the Blueprint and functional system documents that have been created.
• Developing a detailed migration plan and setting the timeline and data migration process.
• Analyzing and preparing data to be migrated from the old system to the new ERP system.
• Developing and testing data migration scripts to ensure a successful transition.
• Executing and monitoring the migration process to ensure data is successfully transferred into the ERP system accurately and without disruption.
• Preparing and maintaining data migration documentation.
• Performing data verification and validation after migration to ensure there are no errors or data loss.
• Collaborating with the ERP implementation team to ensure proper data migration.

Job Requirements:

• Possessing certification in Database and/or Excel skills is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 (two) years of work experience. At least 1 (one) year of involvement in implementing one of the major ERP systems: Microsoft, SAP, or Oracle. Experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus.
• Experience working in an IT consulting or management consulting firm is preferred.
• Well understanding of how ERP systems work. Knowledge of data cleansing and data migration processes. Knowledge of master data management.
• Willing to be assigned to out-of-town tasks.
