**Your role and responsibilities**
The Project Manager on Cyber Security will work closely with Security Services Consulting team or Managed Security Services team to provide the highest level of professional services in information security and project-based security services. The normal duties performed by the PM include financial management (billing and income statement reconciliation); deliverables and project plan management; issues and risk management; communications with the project team and client; deployment and project implementation. This position provides the foundation level for future career growth in the project management or consultancy profession within IBM. This is a business outcomes-based position.
In this role, it will required the ability to travel up to 50% (home on weekends - based on project requirements) but up to 100% travel if business and client needs require.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Has a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Project Management role with Security Consulting background.
* Strong knowledge of cybersecurity domains (network, cloud, SOC, IAM, etc.)
* Demonstrable track record of successful project management through the project management lifecycle.
* Prior experience complex projects, including developing proposals, setting budgets, project planning and implementation.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Experience in the financial services industry (FSI/FSS) is preferable.
* Certifications PMP / PRINCE2 / or Agile/Scrum are a plus.
