About the Role
: To support the Responsible Sourcing team to continuously minimize the social and environmental impact of Catalyst Brands production. This role works closely with the Responsible Sourcing Manager to engage internal and external stakeholders in driving measurable progress on worker well-being and environmental impact throughout our value chain.

Responsibilities:

Data and Performance Management:

  • Assist the Responsible Sourcing Manager (RSM) in tracking and analyzing supplier and facility performance against social and environmental goals
  • Support the timely measurement and reporting of supplier and facility performance, focusing on basic social compliance, worker well-being, and environmental impact goals
  • Utilize and maintain data within internal and external platforms (e.g., Worldly Higg; FEM and FSLM) to support facility engagement and track improvement

Supplier and Facility Engagement:

  • Support the RSM in engaging strategic suppliers to review performance and address areas for improvement in social compliance, worker well-being, and environmental ambitions
  • Prepare data and presentations for supplier performance reviews and engagement meetings
  • Communicate with suppliers and manufacturing facilities to collect information, follow up on corrective actions, and provide basic guidance on program expectations

Internal Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the RSM and Catalyst Brand Sourcing Office (CBSO) teams to align on sourcing and allocation plans and gather feedback on supplier performance
  • Work with internal sourcing, fabric, and merchandise teams to advocate for and embed responsible sourcing principles
  • Assist the RSM in coordinating with regional and country-level teams to ensure consistent implementation of the responsible sourcing program

Program Support:

  • Support the development and implementation of facility engagement programs in partnership with the Environmental Sustainability team
  • Assist in preparing materials and data for engagement with industry associations, multi-stakeholder initiatives, and other external stakeholders
  • Serve as a resource for internal teams and external partners on the details of Catalyst's responsible sourcing program and requirements

Administrative and Ad-Hoc Duties:

  • Manage and organize program documentation, reports, and data files
  • Support the Director of Responsible Sourcing and the Responsible Sourcing Manager with administrative tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the department

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Good team player and able to work well with internal and external business partners
  • Creative problem solver, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to develop and manage projects and achieve set goals
  • Ability to communicate with people at different roles and responsibilities effectively

Education and Experience:

  • Experience in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and/or environmental sustainability preferred
  • Strong understanding of supplier operations, production flow, and Code of Conduct (COC) practices
  • Skilled in coaching and training suppliers on critical COC issues
  • Knowledge of labor, health and safety, and environmental laws in Indonesia and Southeast Asia
  • Proficient in English and Indonesian, other languages a plus
