Act as an expertise and leadership towards assembly process which includes daily production plan/target, execution methods, safety, product quality, and manpower management.

• Optimizing production process through continuous improvement methods.

• Maintaining high quality standards through on-the-floor control to ensure quality and accuracy in each step of the production process include target deadline.

• Working closely with internal groups and departments on addressing problems and make sure production objective are met.

Job Description:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain the Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure compliance with the ISM Code and international maritime regulations.
2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across the fleet to verify adherence to safety policies and practices.
3. Oversee the management and renewal of statutory certifications and ensure vessels comply with all relevant regulatory requirements.
4. Lead and manage the investigation of incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
5. Prepare comprehensive incident reports and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities and stakeholders.
6. Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive measures resulting from incident investigations.
7. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance crew awareness and competency in safety practices.
8. Provide guidance and support to Masters and crew on safety matters, ensuring a shared commitment to high safety standards.
9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
10. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation measures.
11. Coordinate emergency drills and exercises to ensure the crew's readiness to respond to emergency situations.

Requirement:

• Max age 40 years old
• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in maritime safety or compliance roles, with experience in tug and barge fleets strongly preferred.
• Professional certifications in safety management or maritime safety (e.g., NEBOSH, ISM Auditor) are highly advantageous.

Other Key Roles:

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to guide and influence safety practices across the organization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented approach to safety and compliance.
• Proficiency in managing safety documentation, reporting systems, and KPIs.

Overseeing, analyzing and coordinating the operational / technical activities to ensure the fleet is running safely, effectively and efficiently.

Tugas & Tanggung Jawab Utama :

1. Melakukan inspeksi secara berkala (on-board inspection ).
2. Memastikan pelaksanaan perawatan, perbaikan dan docking kapal sesuai dengan standar perusahaan dan regulasi internasional.
3. Berkoordinasi dengan ship management / crew management untuk operasional kapal.
4. Menyusun laporan teknis dan rekomendasi kepada manajemen.
5. Mengawasi pelaksanaan audit ISM Code , PSC dan inspeksi class.
6. Menjadi penghubung dengan galangan kapal, surveyor klasifikasi (BKI, ABS. LR dsb) dan otoritas pelabuhan

1. Pendidikan min. D3/S1 Teknik Perkapalan / Teknik Mesin Kapal atau bidang terkait.
2. Pengalaman min. 3 tahun dibidang pelayaran / technical superintendent.

Role Purpose And Key Accountabilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, rules and regulations
• Provide professional and accurate HSE support and advice across a range of activities including, legislation, communications, programs, policies and procedures.
• Support the business in relation to HSE including workers compensation, accidents and injuries, site procedures, HSE plan, training, audits, identification and implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
• Understand business and strategic issues to ensure that advice provided supports overall project HSE strategy.

• Attend and participate in company HSE committee meetings
• Support the delivery of HSE related projects on time and budget.

• Be capable of writing and reviewing JSA's.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Holding Bachelor Degree with relevant education background or related certification.
• Holding a POP qualification and capable of progressing to a POM qualification.
• Having 8-10 years working experience in similar role, preferably from engineering consultant company and having experience as HSE site personnel.
• Having extensive knowledge and understanding related HSE regulation in Indonesia.
• Proficient in MS suite of Apps – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.
• Able to communicate (written and verbal) in English.
• Proven ability in implementing HSE systems and HSE Plans on construction projects.
• Awareness of the requirements of SMKP, SMK3, ISO 45001.
