About The Role
We are looking for a tax analyst who will be responsible for doing taxation on a daily basis, assisting in the tax audit and tax advisory processes. If you have experience handling tax in Financial Industry or a tax consultant, we would like to hear from you
Responsibilities
- Preparing WHT and VAT calculations based on daily tax reviews — while also preparing WHT, VAT, and CIT Returns
- Reviewing payment forms and checking documents to identify applicable tax rates, and also creating DGT form, coordinating DGT form payment, and submitting DGT form payment report
- Compile and prepare annual tax audit package documents
- Assisting other team members with tax advisory and tax audit
- Candidate has a bachelor Degree in Accounting, Tax Administration or Finance;
- Minimum 2-4 years experience as Tax Consultant at a reputable Tax Consulting Firm and/or Tax Specialist in multinational companies;
- Having Brevet A&B Certificate will be an advantage;
- Proficient in Ms. Office (word, excel and ppt) and tax application software (i.e. e-Faktur and e-SPT)
- The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, while demonstrating exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills and is comfortable working in a fast paced environment

Your Day to Day
- Support Tax Manager in preparing, monitoring, and ensuring the readiness of documentation during tax audit and litigation process. This includes drafting response letters, conducting exposure analysis, coordinating with external consultants, and presenting defenses to tax authorities
- Collaborate with the other tax operation team to ensure a smooth and efficient tax audit and litigation process

- Provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements based on learning from previous tax audit
Who We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax Master degree is preferred
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in taxation, preferably with multinational companies or Big 4 tax consulting firms
- Brevet certification (minimum Brevet B) is a plus
- Proficiency in English is preferred
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP is an advantage
- Good communication skills, a fast learner, highly motivated, and strong analytical thinking
- Proactive in researching and developing a deep understanding of tax regulations
- Willing to be based in Jakarta or Surabaya
