Responsibilities

• Design and execute detailed test cases for regression, functional, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders during requirement gathering to provide QA insights and feedback.
• Identify potential risks during development and version releases to maintain a stable production environment.
• Manage the development and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure that testing strategies and processes align with industry best practices.
• Oversee multi-channel applications, including test management, communication, reporting, test planning, defect management, and data management.
• Conduct thorough reviews of requirements, specifications, and design documents to ensure testability.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing.
• Strong technical skill set with keen attention to detail for completing designed test cases.
• Ability to think critically, demonstrate discipline, and exhibit curiosity; a strong team player.
• Ability to cope with a fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience in API testing and QA automation is a plus, but not mandatory.

Role Description

This is a contract role for a QA Automation specialist, located on-site in Jakarta, Indonesia. The QA Automation specialist will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests, ensuring the quality of software applications. Day-to-day tasks include creating test plans, designing test scripts, collaborating with the development team, and reporting on test results. The specialist will work closely with other team members to identify and resolve issues and improve quality assurance processes.
