Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Automated Tester with experience in automation testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will play a key role in defining and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and building and maintaining automated test suites. This role requires close collaboration with vendor developers, product managers, and QA team members in an Agile environment.

Critical Work Functions / Responsibilities

Automation Testing

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Java, and/or tools like Selenium or similar.
• Automate regression suites for web and mobile applications.
• Integrate test scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Analyze test results and generate clear, actionable reports.
• Identify automation opportunities and contribute to test automation strategies.

Key Performance Expectations

• Prioritization of testing cases.
• Ensure 100% test scenario/case execution with timely reporting.
• Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Tester or similar role, with 3–5 years of automation testing experience.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, Agile frameworks, and regression testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or similar).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test scenarios, test cases, and test plans.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Experience in mobile application testing (Android/iOS form factor).
• Exposure to cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of performance or security testing (optional).
• Experience in business analysis, SQL, and Excel is a plus.
