As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Being under general supervision conduct routine laboratory tests, including the necessary checks and operations of equipment required in the laboratory.
- Working and reviewing for accuracy and overall adequacy.
- Providing records of such equipment and others to the customer representative at the customer site.
- Carrying out all required action safely and as described in the standard operations manual.
- Performing other related duties and handles special projects, as assigned.

PURPOSE
Support the QC General Lead in reviewing, analyzing testing results, documenting findings, and providing technical expertise while maintaining agility in accordance with Bayer and Authority regulations related to Quality Control.
MAJOR TASKS
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at each work stage and supervise cleanliness and tidiness in the laboratory to meet HSE requirements.
- Conduct sampling as scheduled under QC responsibility, including materials, reserved samples, bulk drug products, utilities, equipment, and environmental systems. This includes documentation, data analysis review, trend monitoring of environmental data, and maintaining/archiving analytical reports.
- Perform testing on all QC samples, including finished goods, commercial/post-market stability, raw and packaging materials, microbiology, and environmental monitoring samples as scheduled. - Conduct analytical testing for initial cleaning and cleaning validation samples.

- Ensure compliance in all aspects of analytical testing, documentation, cleanliness, and tidiness.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Diploma degree in microbiology, pharmacy, or chemistry (preferred), or a high school background in chemistry/microbiology.
- Excellent leadership skills and capabilities.
- Ability to work on a shift model (if required).
- Proficient in reading, analyzing, and interpreting Bayer and international/global guidelines, as well as writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in English.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a QC microbiology laboratory, particularly in scheduling and laboratory investigation.
