As a Student Support team member, you will be a bridge between our students and the school management, ensuring each student feels welcomed, supported, and cared for during their time with us. This role combines logistical assistance, emotional support, and community integration with a focus on creating a safe and positive student experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support students throughout their journey at House of Om.
- Answer student questions regarding logistics, schedules, and community rules.
- Provide practical and emotional support within appropriate boundaries.
- Escalate student concerns to the School Manager or management team when necessary.
- Monitor Google Reviews, draft professional responses for approval, and escalate critical feedback.
- Assist with student orientation and support community integration.
- Collect and log student feedback systematically.
- Prepare and distribute Theory Exam and Experience Form links.
- Provide immediate assistance in emergencies and urgent student needs.
Work Schedule :
- 5 days per week, minimum 8 hours per day (mix of offline and online).
- Daily lunch presence (~3 hours) with students (required).
- Rotational presence between different House of Om sites.
- Some evenings and weekends required (can be substituted with weekday hours).
- Availability to respond during emergencies.

Job Descriptions:
- Work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to support assessment for learning of their students with additional educational needs and identify specific learning support needs.
- Provide direct support for students with additional learning and support needs through a range of strategies (including direct instruction, differentiation in teaching, assessment, and monitoring of progress), including areas of social integration, language and communication, literacy, numeracy, and behavior. This may include students with a confirmed diagnosis.
- Support teachers in dealing with students with special needs in the classroom.
- Facilitate the participation of students in a variety of mental health, well-being, mindfulness activities, and events locally, nationally, and internationally
- Provide individual and group counseling to students with identified concerns and needs, including Social Groups.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in related fields
- Have the ability to work closely with others in a positive and collaborative environment
- High initiative, warm, and dynamic personality
- Be computer literate
- Be proficient in English, both written and spoken, with an IELTS score equal to or above 6.0

● Conduct coaching through various channels: Chat, calls, emails, and face-to-face with prospective students and continuing students.
● Support, guide and help students during their college life to set, track and achieve their academic, personal and career-related goals.
● Identify barriers to student completion and success; and collaborate on strategies to overcome them.
● Support students in developing effective study habits, time management, and self-regulation skills.

Requirement

● Strong understanding of adolescent/young adult development.
● Familiarity with higher education system and student support services (preferred)
● Strong organizational and documentation skills (specifically in Google Workspace)
● Willingness to work flexible hours depending on student needs.
● Strong communication, emotional intelligence, listening and critical thinking skills.
● Familiarity with technology, social media and learning management systems.
